Thirteen years of teaching flow arts in Tartu
Tulekunstikool was founded in Tartu in 2012 to teach flow arts to anyone willing to learn. Since then we’ve trained dozens of students and performed at various events across Estonia and abroad.

What we teach
Core props
These classes are what’s typically running each semester. Poi and Staff are foundational, developing the skills on which everything else builds.
Poi Foundational
Two weighted tethers spun into orbit around your hands — the first shape most fire dancers learn: hypnotic, endless circles.
Staff Foundational

Fans
Two fans traced through wide, overlapping sweeps — sharp, theatrical, and full of contrast.
Whip
Precision cracks and flowing coils — the loudest prop, and one of the hardest to fully tame.
